Plazhi i Potamit

Plazhi i Potamit takes its name from the Greek word for river, and the beach earns it: a spring surfaces underwater here and threads into the sea, giving this corner of Himarë especially cold, clear pockets of blue. It's become a magnet for families, partly because the Anassa Suites and a handful of other stays sit a seven-minute walk away, and partly for the beach bar's sunset cocktails. Expect some rock underfoot near the water's edge even though most of the shore is sand, and arrive early in July or August.
