Cookie policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on myalbania.online, why we use them, and how you can change your choices at any time.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use localStorage for your trip planner and language preference — same idea, with longer storage. We group all of this under "cookies" for clarity.
Necessary (always on)
Make the site usable. You can't switch these off because the site stops working without them.
NEXT_LOCALE— stores your selected language (EN / RO / SQ).myalbania:consent:v1— stores your cookie choices so we don't ask again on every visit.myalbania:planner:v1— stores the bookmarks you save in the trip planner — entirely on your device, never sent to us.
Analytics (your choice)
Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. We use it to count visits and see which destination guides are actually useful — never to identify you personally.
_ga,_ga_*— Google Analytics — pseudonymous visitor ID and session info.
Marketing (your choice)
Stay22 attribution cookies. When you click an outbound link to Booking.com, Airbnb, Hotels.com or VRBO, Stay22 sets a cookie so we get credit if you book. We don't run ad networks, retargeting, or social pixels.
- Stay22 — outbound affiliate attribution for hotel booking links.
Change your choices
Tap "Manage my cookies" anywhere on the site (top of this page or in the footer) to re-open the preferences panel. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings — we'll ask again on your next visit.
