Coastal hike from Drymades to Gjipe Beach
A 30-minute scrambling descent from Drymades to one of the Riviera's last unbuilt beaches — sharp, sun-baked and worth every step.

The trail
From Drymades beach, the path follows the cliffside south, dropping into a steep canyon, and ends at Gjipe Beach — sheltered by limestone walls, with one beach bar in summer and otherwise nothing.

- 2 km one way.
- 30–45 min descent, 50 min back up.
- Easy-moderate (steep loose gravel in places).
Tips
- Bring water, hat, swimsuit.
- Best mornings or late afternoons (no shade midday).
- Boat shuttles run from Himarë for non-hikers.
