Lake Ohrid

On the Albanian shore near Pogradec, Lake Ohrid feels less like a single attraction than a backdrop the town is built around — promenades, fish restaurants and small piers all facing water that UNESCO protects as part of a shared World Heritage area with North Macedonia.
