Shtegu i Dhenve

Shtegu i Dhenve — the Path of the Sheep — follows old droving routes above Theth, the Alpine village known for its stone kulla towers and the Blue Eye springs nearby. As the name suggests, this is still working pasture: expect to share the track with grazing flocks and the occasional shepherd's dog, moving through beech woods before the terrain opens onto bare highland. It's graded moderate, with enough elevation gain to notice but nothing that requires technical climbing, and it's best walked May through October while the passes stay clear of snow.
