Peshkopi - Radomirë

The walk from Peshkopi to Radomirë climbs through the scrubby hill country behind Krujë, well away from the tour buses queuing for Skanderbeg's castle. Oak coppice gives way to terraced smallholdings and the odd stone hut, with sightlines back toward the Adriatic plain on clear days. Rated moderate rather than easy, it rewards sturdy shoes over sandals — expect loose gravel on the descents. May through October is the reliable window; outside that, snow and mud can make the route unpredictable.
