Llogara Circle

The Llogara Circle loops through the pine forest of Llogara National Park above Dhërmi, at the point where the Ceraunian Mountains drop almost straight into the Ionian Sea. The payoff is the view: on a clear stretch of ridge you can look down over the switchback road that carries traffic between Vlorë and the Riviera villages, with the coastline curving away toward Himarë. It's rated moderate rather than a stroll — count on real elevation gain and cooler, windier conditions than the beach towns below — and the walking season runs May to October.
