"Blue Eye" Route

Theth keeps its own, smaller version of the Blue Eye spring — a cold, glass-clear pool tucked below the village along the river, well short of the famous one near Sarandë but no less startling in colour. The marked route down from the village passes stone kulla towers and pine before reaching the swimming hole, rated moderate for the descent and the scramble back up. Bring water shoes; the pool numbs feet fast even in August.
