Windsurfeñ

The name gives it away: this stretch of Vlorë's shoreline catches the steady bay winds that make it a magnet for windsurfers rather than sunbathers, especially in the afternoon when the thermal breeze picks up. The shoreline itself is an unassuming mix of sand and pebble, secondary to the water conditions that draw a small, dedicated crowd of board-sport regulars. It is a better stop for anyone bringing or renting gear than for a lazy beach day, and quieter than the resort beaches further down the Riviera coast.
