Plazhi Diaporit

Diaporit takes its name from the site across the water associated with Butrint's ancient ruins, a Roman-era villa complex that once looked out over these same shores near Ksamil — so the beach carries more history in its name than most of the coast's newer resort strips. The shoreline itself is pebble, quieter and less developed than Ksamil's headline sand beaches and the small islands offshore that draw the crowds. It's a reasonable pick for travellers who've already ticked off Ksamil's postcard bays and want a calmer stretch of coast with a genuine sense of place behind it.
