Our writers
Three journalists. A Romanian editor, a Tirana-born city writer, and a mountain guide from Shkodër. Every article is signed.
Ana Popa
Ana runs the editorial line at myAlbania.online from Bucharest. She has been travelling the Balkans for a decade — first as a backpacker, then as a journalist for Vice Romania and Munții Noștri magazine. She covers itineraries, cost planning and comparisons with neighbouring countries, and edits every guide before it goes live.
Erion Krasniqi
Erion was born in Tirana and grew up between the capital, Berat and his grandmother's kitchen in Përmet. He writes about Albanian cities the way a local shows a friend around — which bakery is worth queueing at, which castle has the shortcut, which restaurant's tavë kosi is the real thing. Before joining myAlbania.online he wrote for Kosovo 2.0 and Balkan Insight.
Ilir Musliu
Ilir is a certified mountain guide from Shkodër with fifteen years of leading treks through the Cursed Mountains, Llogara Pass and the coast between Vlorë and Sarandë. He's hiked the Theth–Valbona pass more times than he can count. His pieces cover beach picks, hike difficulty ratings, coastal drives and the practicalities of moving around the Riviera in summer.
