Osum Canyon rafting — the wild side of inland Albania
The 26 km Osum Canyon, with walls up to 80 m high, is rafted in spring when snowmelt fills the river — a half-day adventure from Berat.

Best time
April to mid-June, when the river is high and the rapids active. By July it slows to a trickle.
What to expect
- Class II–III rapids (beginner-friendly).
- 3–4 hours on the water.
- Wetsuit + life jacket included with operators.
Operators
Several run from Berat or Çorovodë (the canyon's entry point); €40–€60 per person including transfer.
