Vlore - Orikum path

The path between Vlorë and Orikum traces the curve of the bay south toward the foot of the Llogara pass, with the Karaburun peninsula visible across the water for most of the walk. It passes close to the ruins of ancient Oricum, though the trail itself is a coastal walk rather than an archaeological tour, moderate mostly because of its length and sun exposure rather than any technical difficulty. May through October is the comfortable window; in high summer, shade is scarce along most of the route.
